Observing
The Space Astronomy Laboratory conducts both theoretical and observational research in various areas of the late stages of stellar evolution. In the past three years, members of the group have carried out observations with the following facilities:
Kitt Peak National Observatory
for infrared imaging and spectroscopy
Hubble Space Telescope
for optical imaging, infrared imaging, and ultraviolet spectroscopy
James Clerk Maxwell Telescope
for submillimeter-wave spectroscopy
Infrared Space Observatory
for infrared spectroscopy
Australian Telescope
for radio imaging
Mount Stromlo
and
Siding Spring Observatories
for optical imaging
Gemini North and South Telescopes
for mid-IR imaging and spectroscopy
Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope
for optical imaging
Very Large Array
for radio imaging
Chandra X-ray Telescope
for x-ray imaging and spectroscopy
