The Graduate Institute of Astronomy at the National Tsing Hua University invites applications,

in all astronomy and astrophysics research areas, for several faculty positions to start in the

2001-2002 academic year. Assistant, associate and full professorship will be considered

according to qualification.  Successful candidates are expected to teach at both undergraduate

and graduate levels, and to develop independent research programs. Research and teaching

experiences beyond Ph.D. are preferred. Applicants should arrange to have a resume, a list of

publications, a few recent reprints, a description of research plan, and at least three reference
